The professionals who make up Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker & Stewart, P.C. are our most valuable asset. They are talented, creative, and dedicated to providing timely, personal attention to every client they serve. With the combined technical and professional experience of our shareholders, associates, and technical and administrative staff, the BEBWS team works to produce a quality product on time, every time.
BEBWS shareholders are licensed CPAs with a broad range of professional experience. They maintain excellent relationships with many executives in the banking, financial services and legal fields — relationships that ultimately benefit our clients. In keeping with our firm's spirit of community, our shareholders also volunteer their time, talents and financial resources to many charitable, community and professional organizations to which they feel a strong personal commitment.

Randy Eberhart began his accounting career upon graduation from Troy University in 1981. He became a shareholder of the firm in 1987. Licensed in both Alabama and Florida, Randy is affiliated with numerous professional organizations including the AICPA, ASCPA, and the FICPA. He serves the community on the Boards of such organizations as Wallace College Foundation, Trinity Bank, Dothan Country Club, and coaches in local youth programs. He is married with four children and involved in various charitable foundations and local professional groups.
Brent Browning graduated from Troy University and began his accounting career in 1981. He opened his accounting practice in Ozark in 1985 and merged with Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker and Stewart in 2001. Brent manages the Ozark office with a very competent staff. Brent is involved in many professional, civic and religious organizations. He is married with three children and lives in Ozark.
Donna Walker has been serving clients’ accounting needs since 1983, and has been a shareholder of the firm since 1995. Donna is a native of Dothan and a graduate of the University of South Alabama. She is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the AICPA and the ASCPA. Donna is married with three children, who she enjoys spending time with and watching play sports. She is involved in the community as a member of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Dothan High School Tiger Club, and First United Methodist Church.
Blaine Stewart began his accounting career in 1989 following his graduation from Troy University. He became a shareholder of the firm in 1996. Blaine is affiliated with numerous professional organizations including the AICPA, ASCPA as well as local professional groups such as the Chamber of Commerce and Dothan Homebuilders. He serves on the Boards of various local organizations such as Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center. Blaine is married with three children and very involved in his children’s activities and in the community.
Jason McGhee began helping clients with their accounting needs in 1998. Jason received his BS from Auburn University and an MBA from Troy University. He is a member of the AICPA and ASCPA. He has served on various professional community and non-profit boards in an advisory capacity. Jason is married with two children and, is active with First United Methodist Church of Dothan.
Susan Johnson graduated from Troy University-Dothan with a BS in Accounting. She joined the Firm in 1989 and brings over 20 years experience to the accounting profession. Her areas of expertise are focused on small business services and individual tax.
Tony Johnson has spent more than twenty years serving client’s accounting needs. In addition to working with individuals and closely-held businesses, he specializes in tax planning and consulting for the construction and agricultural industries. Tony is a member of two Certified Public Accounting groups: the AICPA and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Tony is a graduate of Troy University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. While at Troy, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Tony is married with three children. He and his family attend Calvary Baptist Church of Dothan.
Robert Bankston joined BEBWS in 2004. He is a shareholder in the Accounting, Advisory, Tax, and Assurance Services group. Robert’s public accounting service includes audits of the firm’s non-profit, governmental and distribution clients. In addition, he provides comprehensive tax planning and compliance services to business and individuals.
Robert received his BBA and MBA in Accounting, graduating with honors from Troy University.
Tracy Knowles graduated with honors from the University of Alabama with a BS in Accounting and a Masters of Taxation. He began his career as a tax consultant for a national Big Six accounting firm. Tracy's areas of expertise revolve around tax and financial issues that affect the small to medium size business. Tracy holds the following credentials in business valuations: Accredited in Business Valuations by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Valuation Analysts form the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Paula Scholl is a 2003 graduate of Troy University at Dothan where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at Troy-Dothan, she was the recipient of the Outstanding Undergraduate in Accounting Award. Paula has been serving clients’ accounting needs since 2003 and has been with our firm since 2006. In addition to her CPA credentials, Paula is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. Paula is a member of the AICPA, ASCPA and ACFE.
Lee has been with the firm since 2007 and leads our Retirement Plan Services Division. He works closely with business owners and their financial advisors in designing and implementing corporate retirement plans and provides third party administration services. Lee worked previously in the investment advisory and banking industry and received degrees from Enterprise State Junior College, Troy University and is currently pursuing a Masters degree from the University of Alabama. Lee has been certified as a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist by the College for Financial Planning, a Qualified 401K Administrator, Qualified Pension Administrator and Certified Pension Consultant by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and an Accredited Pension Administrator and Accredited Pension Representative by the National Institute of Pension Administrators. Lee is also enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent.
Ryan graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005 and began his accounting career shortly after with a regional firm in the Southeastern United States. He is a board member of the Dothan Area Young Professionals, serves on committees for the Dothan/Houston County Rotary Club and the Houston/Henry county University of Alabama Alumni Association. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Southeast chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ryan¿s public accounting services include auditing, tax preparation, tax planning, and consulting. He is actively involved in various non-profit community/fund raising events and attends Wiregrass Church.
Mark Phillips joined the firm in 2007 and has over nine years experience. He is affiliated with two Certified Public Accounting groups, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mark is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is also a graduate of Troy University, where he received a Master of Business Administration.
Terri Dovre is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is also affiliated with the Auburn University Alumni Association. Terri has been serving clients accounting needs since 1994 and joined our firm in 2005. Terri is a member of two professional Certified Public Accounting groups: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accounts. She is a past president of the Southeast Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a past council member of the same organization. Terri is a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She is a married and has two children.
Aaron Rascoe graduated from Troy University with a BS in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration. He joined the firm in 2010 and has been in public accounting since 2005. He is a member of both the AICPA and ASCPA. Aaron is married with two children. He and his family attend Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise.
Mark Witherspoon received his BA from Auburn University and an MBA from Auburn University at Montgomery. Mark began his accounting career in 2004 in private industry before moving to public accounting in 2006. He is a member of the AICPA and ASCPA. He serves clients' accounting needs out of the Ozark office. Mark is married and has one daughter.
Ronda Eberhart is a 1993 graduate of Troy University Dothan. She has been serving clients accounting needs at Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker & Stewart, P.C. since 1999. Ronda is affiliated with the AICPA, ASCPA, and other professional organizations. In addition to her career, she is a wife and mother of four children and very involved in their activities as well as our community. She enjoys her work as well as volunteering at her children’s schools and with other charitable organizations.
Rebecca Rollins McDonald received her B.S. in Business Administration with a major in accounting in 1998 and a Masters of Accountancy in 2000 both from The University of Alabama. She then began working with a world-wide Big Five accounting firm in Birmingham in the Assurance and Advisory Services department where she performed audits of many publicly traded companies as well as local businesses. Rebecca, a Dothan native, joined Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker, & Stewart, P.C. in the fall of 2001. Rebecca and her husband have three children. She enjoys playing tennis, walking, fishing, and going to the beach. Rebecca volunteers with her children’s school, the local alumni chapter of The University of Alabama, and First United Methodist Church.
Stephanie Thornton graduated from Transylvania University with a BA in Accounting. Her twenty plus years of accounting experience include working in the tax department for a national Big 6 accounting firm and as the corporate tax manager for a multi-national, publicly traded textile manufacturer. After moving to Dothan with her husband and two children, Stephanie returned to public accounting by joining Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker & Stewart the fall of 2006.
